Brookhaven is proud to introduce its first instructional video. The following video will outline the necessary steps required to prepare a polystyrene latex standard such as the one used for validating particle sizing using dynamic light scattering. This procedure is an excellent starting point for preparing any electrostatically stabilized colloidal or nanoparticle dispersion. Note, if the starting sample is not a dispersed concentrate such as latex, then additional steps of wetting and dispersing are required.
