Detecting and Sizing Monoclonal Antibody Aggregates at Low pH by Dynamic Light Scattering

Aggregation propensity is one of the most critical parameters in determining the stability of protein therapeutics, so a fast, low-volume, non-destructive screen is valuable during formulation and stability work. This note shows how Dynamic Light Scattering resolves a monoclonal antibody sample into three populations under a low-pH challenge and serves as an early-warning indicator of aggregation onset.
